Premium cast vinyl is built for UK and European weather — UV exposure, rain, car washes and daily wear. With correct application and basic care, your social stickers and vehicle decals stay crisp for years. This matters most on car stickers parked outdoors.
Materials and lifespan
Our vinyl cut decals use automotive-grade cast vinyl designed for outdoor use. Black and white films typically offer the longest outdoor lifespan — up to 8 years in normal conditions. Coloured and specialty finishes (metallic, reflective) may show gradual change over many years of harsh sun but remain readable and adhered when applied correctly.
Curing period
Adhesive reaches full strength after 24–48 hours. During this time:
- Do not wash the vehicle or scrub the decal
- Avoid heavy rain if possible (light drizzle is fine once pressed firmly)
- Do not pick at edges or corners
Car-wash safety
Once cured, our decals are car-wash safe. Hand washing and automatic roll-over washes are fine. Avoid directing a pressure washer nozzle directly at decal edges at close range — a glancing spray is safer than a concentrated jet on the seam.
Cleaning tips
- Wash with mild soap and water — avoid abrasive compounds and solvent-based cleaners on the decal
- Do not use wax over the decal if you want maximum clarity on reflective finishes
- Wipe gently with a microfibre cloth
Safe removal
To remove a decal, warm the vinyl gently with a hair dryer on low (not scorching hot), then peel slowly from one corner. Adhesive residue can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. If you are replacing a sticker, clean the surface thoroughly before applying the new one.
